SonicEye™
As a wearable ultrasound probe, the SonicEye™, leverages innate human hand eye coordination providing both fine-motor positional control and exquisite spatial awareness of fingertip location with tactile feedback.
Traditionally the ultrasound transducer is held in the hand, requiring additional personnel to complete routine procedures involving layered protocols. With a much smaller product profile than traditional ultrasound probes the innovative finger-mounted design allows the operator's hand to move freely without the need to hold the transducer. The SonicEye™ could allow for:
- The ability to do more as a solo care provider
- More control, better placement
- More precise imaging
- Wider applicability for ultrasound use
- Improved ergonomic operation and relief from repetitive motion injury
By placing imaging technology directly into the hands and onto the fingers of medical professionals, the SonicEye™ brings new ultrasound applications to a host of clinical settings including vascular access, trauma, and military field-use settings.
